The Center for Jewish Impact partnered with the German Embassy in Israel, led by Ambassador Steffen Seibert, to host a Diplomatic Salon on balancing the fight against antisemitism with upholding free speech in a post-October 7th reality. Over 60 guests from the diplomatic and civil sectors discussed the challenges of addressing hate while preserving fundamental rights. The event featured a panel discussion moderated by journalist Tal Schneider and fellow subject matter experts: Mr. Dor Glick, Journalist, Former Europe Correspondent for Channel 10 News in Berlin, Michael Rimmel, Israel office head of the Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung foundation, and Dr. Tehilla Shwartz Altshuler, Head of Democracy in the Information Age Program at The Israel Democracy Institute.
